Available Positions

The ASUS Executive team is elected by the Arts and Science student body. Together, the President and Vice-Presidents guide the direction of the Society. The team oversees all of the Society’s operations, including ASUS Council, during a one year term.
The ASUS Executive team works over the summer in the ASUS Offices at 35 hours per week. Over the academic term (September-April), the each member works 30 hours.

Represent the interests of ASUS & Arts & Science students ASUS and AMS Assembly: the highest legislative body within Queen’s University student government
Vote on motions affecting the undergraduate student body at AMS Assembly

Advocate and vote for Queen’s students with your seat on the Senate of Queen's University, working directly with Queen's Senior Leadership (Deans, Provost, Principal)

ASUS DSC Elections
Department Student Council (DSC) Co-Presidents represent the student in their department. They work to advocate for student needs, plan events, and vote on Faculty Board. To be eligible, you must be a major or a minor in the department. See which departments we represent!
All candidates run independently and can self nominate.
